April-Day Akaushi

Unique and Red – Akaushi brighten the pastures for April-Day.

To utilize grazing acreage, beef cattle were added in 2012. As one of the very first upper-Midwest breeders of American Akaushi, April-Day is focused on developing a small, elite Akaushi herd for local beef and genetic resources.

MACHI – Heartbrand Shi Machi 43 ET

Machi is one of a few fullblood Akaushi in the April-Day herd, due with a Rueshaws II heifer calf in Spring 2026.
