ELMARO RED’s dam, as an early daughter of Captain, was called back under Sexing Technologies’ Legend program. Before this decision, a flush to our own Trumpet Red was done resulting in two heifers that stayed back at April-Day. ELMARO RED was one of them and her RC sister ELVI RC – also VG-88 remain in the herd. Behind the dam is a Good-Plus two-year-old sired by April-Day Modesty Anselmi RC (Modesty x Olympian x Supersire x VERDEJO RC) – then Captain Eberle RC – and next April-Day Mega-Watt EMILIO RED, who was lost to a leg injury early in her second lactation.

Maple Red was the talk of the industry in late 2022, winning both the Red & White and Black & White shows at the Royal Winter Fair. Sadly, the industry lost this great cow soon after, making her direct descendants so extra special!

Eastwest LJ Destry McKeena Red was a very well-known Red & White show cow. She was bred in Canada and became well-known for combining an outstanding show-ring presence with a strong cow family. She is remembered as one of the standout Destry daughters and helped reinforce Destry's reputation for producing elite Red & White show cows.
